20 Weeks Post Op

Okay I messed up and ate 3 scoops of the richest ice cream I could get my hands on and thus paying the price by not dropping a pound this week. Whose fault is this? Mine. Mine. Mine. Wanted so badly to go below 270 but nevah so got to work hard this week to make up for the ice cream. So it's protein and sipping water and extra walking.
Date of Surgery 12/02/05 : 349.7 pounds
Today 04/28/06 : 272 pounds
Goodbye forever : 77.7 pounds
Will work hard this week to go below 270.
Got to keep on track.

Don't look back, lood forward and from here on out, no more icecream. Right? You are doing way to good to kick your own butt. You will drop below that 270 mark and from there, it's all down hill.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. Being feeling kinda lonesome over there. I am very thrilled with your weight loss so far, and I know you're going to go all the way! Don't forget how far you've come, how much you inspire me and many, many other people. We're all rooting for you Melissa. YOU CAN DO IT!

We all make mistakes sometimes, Melissa! Don't beat yourself up over it too much; just remember how it made you feel both right after and today the next time it tempts you. Then I bet you'll stay away from it! I know you can!

it'll be okay. the further out from surgery we get, the more we have to deal with temptation. in the beginning it's easy because our pouch is asleep and we're almost terrified to screw up. the further out you go the more comfortable (complacent?) we get and the more temptation is a struggle. it's all part of learning to live post WLS.
